Open Gardens Ickleton 16th June 11am -5 pm
Ickleton Village is holding its third Open Gardens in 45 years on Sunday, 16th June from 11am – 5pm. The event offers the rare opportunity to visit some of the gardens behind some of the high flint walls in Ickleton and visit 15+ private gardens around the village, with ploughman’s lunch, teas & home-made cakes available.
There will also be a sale of plants, homemade and local produce and beekeeping as well as a Treasure Trail for younger visitors.
Gardens open include:
***an established cottage garden, a newly developed courtyard garden
*** a family garden with quintessentially English planting
***a magical ‘fairy land’ garden
*** extensive formal gardens surrounding a large Manor house and gardens surrounding a former haybarn.
Tickets are £6 for adults, accompanied children are free.
